The leaves of the camphor tree are bright green and oval-shaped, often emitting a strong, distinctive fragrance. The bark of young trees is typically smooth and grayish-white, while the bark of mature trees may become rough over time. The flowers are small, yellow-green, and usually not very noticeable.

Mature camphor trees produce berry-like fruits containing hard seeds. Camphor wood is rich in volatile oils, exuding a characteristic intense aroma, making it a premium source for high-quality fragrance extraction.
