▎精油簡介

甜馬鬱蘭長約30-80公分,溫帶多年生草本植物,具密生淺根性的根群,Origanum源自於希臘語,山之喜悅,在古希臘羅馬時代被認為是象徵幸福,神明化身的香草。被普遍用在日常食物中,經典的義式吃法是甜馬鬱蘭加橄欖油香烤馬鈴薯。常會和野馬鬱蘭(俗稱牛至-酚類)混淆,因為其味道甜味帶有辛辣苦味,所以稱甜馬以做為區分。而在地中海精油中,是最常見的舒眠配方。

甜馬鬱蘭的花語是「溝通」,希臘神話中,甜馬鬱蘭是主掌愛與美之女神-愛芙羅黛蒂Aphrodite所珍愛的香藥草,因愛芙羅黛蒂的觸碰,而開始有了香氣。在羅馬神話中則據傳為專門貢祀愛神維納斯之花,甜馬鬱蘭代表著「榮譽、愛情與繁殖」。據說,甜馬鬱蘭可以給新婚夫妻帶來好運,希臘人與羅馬人的傳統婚禮中,將甜馬鬱蘭編織成花冠給新人戴上,以祝福新人幸福與長久。

|主要成分:單萜醇

主要成分為萜品烯四醇、側柏醇、α-萜品醇、沉香醇,其他有萜品烯、檜烯、對繖花烴、丁香油烴、乙酸萜品烯酯、乙酸沉香酯、洋茴香腦等。

|研究認證

▸ 在著作《草藥志TheHerball》中指出甜馬鬱蘭精油為「與頭腦有關的良藥」。


根據研究,甜馬鬱蘭精油對於多種微生物,抑菌種以需鈉孤菌、軟腐病菌、莫拉菌屬有相關的研究。
