Crimson Glory Rose, cultivated in Yunnan, China, is a unique hybrid of the French Rosa Centifolia and the local Rosa rugosa. The region's mild climate, abundant sunlight, and fertile soil create ideal conditions for this rose to thrive, making it one of the most important sources for premium rose oil in China.
The petals are crushed and combined with organic solvents, such as ethanol, to dissolve the aromatic components. The resulting solution is then filtered and gently evaporated to remove the solvent, preserving the full essence of the rose in the form of an absolute. This process captures the pure spirit of the flower, making every drop a gift from nature, rich in fragrance and energy.
Its aroma is lush and sweet, yet refined, an elegant rose scent with delicate floral notes and a subtle honey-like sweetness. This sophisticated fragrance evokes a sense of romance and delight, like strolling through a blooming rose garden surrounded by nature’s embrace.

2. Dried Tangerine Peel (Chen Pi)

Xinhui is where three rivers converge, creating a blend of salt and fresh water. The soil is rich in organic matter, and the area is embraced by three surrounding mountain ranges, making it ideal for growing premium-quality tangerines (Xinhui Tea-Branch Tangerine).
The Xinhui Tea-Branch Tangerine is a domesticated variety derived from wild citrus species found in the river valley regions of the Gudou, Niuguling, and Zhufeng mountain ranges. It contains three key active components: volatile oils, polysaccharides, and flavonoids. As early as the Ming Dynasty, it was included in the renowned Chinese pharmacopoeia Compendium of Materia Medica (Bencao Gangmu). Once dried, its peel becomes Chen Pi, the authentic and recognized form in traditional Chinese medicine.
The essential oil of Chen Pi has a refreshing citrus aroma complemented by warm herbal notes, along with subtle woody and musky undertones. Compared to the oil from fresh peel, it presents a more grounded character, gradually revealing dry, woody, and aged nuances over time.
Thanks to its multiple benefits, it is widely used in daily life. In aromatherapy, it is commonly used in blends designed to create a calming atmosphere and support restful environments. In perfumery, it serves as a base for woody accords, adding depth when combined with oils like sandalwood or patchouli.
