▎精油簡介
喜馬拉雅雪鬆生長在印度、尼泊爾和西藏喜馬拉雅山脈附近，耐冷的環境，高度可達40-50公尺，直徑可達3米。它的油脂含量很高，在強烈陽光的照射加上自身的油脂，會自動燃火，而裡面蘊含豐厚的自然精華。
喜馬拉雅雪松葉端下垂，大西洋雪松葉端上揚，喜馬拉雅雪鬆的枝葉跟大西洋雪松相比，較為凌亂，印度人形容它的外觀就像是正在跳舞的濕婆神，因此它也被認為神明的化身，又被印度人稱為「神聖之樹」，種名deodara 源自梵文(神diva)，意指的是像神的樹，也是巴基斯坦國樹。冥想時使用喜馬拉雅雪松精油，可以幫助心神的寧靜，屏除過多的雜念。
▎成分解析
｜主要成分：倍半萜酮
主要成分為α-、γ-大西洋酮，α-、β-喜馬拉雅烯，喜瑪拉雅醇。
豐富的倍半萜烯（喜馬雪松烯）使其具有很好的舒緩、安撫作用，倍半萜酮（大西洋酮）則扮演了「療傷聖手」的角色，化解、修補深層的傷痛，並凝斂心神。喜馬拉雅雪鬆所含的倍半萜酮是雪松中相當高的，是很好的疏通類用油。
喜瑪拉雅雪松針葉精油以單萜烯為主，氣味和木材會不同，市面上多份精餾，油色氣味較不混濁，但α-大西洋酮比例較少。
